The Schefflera Amate (also known as the Umbrella Tree) makes a stunning statement in any indoor space. With its rich green foliage and graceful umbrella-shaped leaf clusters, this plant adds instant vibrance and height to home or office interiors.

Care & Light Needs:
The Schefflera Amate thrives in bright, indirect light and prefers a warm, stable environment. As a 12" mature plant, it will need substantial, filtered light to maintain its full shape and leaf color. While it can tolerate brief periods of lower light, poor lighting may lead to leggy growth or leaf drop. Avoid harsh, direct sun, which can cause leaf burn.

Watering:
Allow the top few inches of soil to dry between waterings. Schefflera does not like to sit in soggy soil, so make sure the pot has proper drainage. Overwatering is one of the most common mistakes with this plant—when in doubt, wait a day or two before watering again. We always recommend the best investment when nurturing your plants properly to invest in a moisture meter. It will take any guess work out of when to water.
