“A Pot To Plant In” Celebrates Holiday Success at Greenbriar Mall’s Iconic “Santa is Coming” Parade

A Pot To Plant In, Smyrna’s premier community plant shop, is proud to announce the successful conclusion of its second-ever pop-up event. Held during the festive “Santa is Coming” parade at Greenbriar Mall over Thanksgiving weekend 2025, the event marked a significant milestone for the botanical brand as it continues to grow its presence in the Greater Atlanta area.

Invited to showcase their holiday spirit, A Pot To Plant In served as the go-to source for vibrant poinsettias during the mall’s legendary holiday kickoff. The atmosphere was electric, featuring a high school marching band, local cheer teams, dance groups, and performing arts centers that kept the energy high for the entire family. 

This was our 2nd official pop-up, and we’re officially getting the hang of this! Being surrounded by the joy of the parade; from the bounce houses and face painting to the life-sized games and raffles ~ reminded us why we do what we do. It was an honor to be part of such a storied community tradition.

The event offered more than just shopping; it was a full holiday experience. While children took photos with Santa and his helpers and Girl Scout troupes engaged with the crowd, A Pot To Plant In connected with a diverse audience of long-time supporters and enthusiastic newcomers.

“We felt incredibly supported, not just by our growing community, but by the Greenbriar Mall staff and the surrounding business owners,” added Sanders. “The warm welcome we received from fellow entrepreneurs made the experience even more rewarding.”

Though the holiday poinsettias were the star of the weekend, the shop continues to offer its full signature lineup online, including tropical houseplants, designer planters, premium soil, and botanical-themed apparel and books.
